Train-the-Trainer (T3)

Level 1

Building off of more than a decade of facilitating transformative blended learning programs, the T3 program offers participants an opportunity to learn the foundational skills and capacities to facilitate key parts of Acumen's Moral Leadership content.

The 11-week program combines live, virtual, synchronous learning opportunities, individual reflection, deep coaching as well as multiple opportunities to practice new facilitation skills with a live cohort.

Values Alignment

You believe that the world needs more leaders with the determination and grit to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable world.

Facilitation Experience

Your social change work is directly connected to training or facilitating, and you are looking to deepen an already existing skill set.

Commitment

You can commit to a 4-month program and 60+ hours of sessions and pre-work. This is not easy, and will require both your time and willingness to be stretched.

What will you get from this experience?

Foundational Facilitation Skills and Capacities

These are a set of foundational skills and capacities that were adapted from the International Association of Facilitators to fit the unique context of Acumen’s work learning style and intent. This is the “magic sauce”.

Virtual Live & Practice Sessions

You will be part of 7 live sessions, led by Acumen Academy Faculty. And you will lead a diverse cohort of learners through a 6-week learning journey, giving you an opportunity to actively practices the skills and capacities in real-time.

Deep Coaching

You will receive 3+ hours of coaching from an experienced faciltiator, who will provide structured feedback along with a future-looking development plan to continue deepening your skills.

Online Assignments

You will learn about key content areas from our Moral Leadership curriculum through our online course, including: Polarities Management, Adaptive Leadership (introduction) and Good Society Readings (introduction).
